أظهرت وثيقة قضائية نُشرت الإثنين أنّ يوتيوب وافق على دفع 22 مليون دولار لإنهاء دعوى قضائية رفعها ضدّه الرئيس دونالد ترامب بعد أن قام الموقع التابع لغوغل بتعليق حسابه في أعقاب الهجوم الذي شنّه جمع من أنصاره على مبنى الكابيتول في 6 كانون الثاني/يناير 2021.

وبذلك يصبح موقع تشارك الفيديوهات عبر الإنترنت آخر منصة تتوصّل إلى اتفاق مع ترامب لتسوية نزاع قضائي بدأ في تمّوز/يوليو 2021، وذلك بعد أن توصّلت شركتا ميتا وإكس (تويتر سابقا) إلى اتفاقات مماثلة.
