توج لاعب التنس عبدالله شلباية، بلقب بطولة تشالنجر لاس فيجاس ذات الـ 75 نقطة، وذلك بعد فوزه في النهائي على اللاعب الأميركي أليكس ريباكوف بمجموعتين دون مقابل.

ويعتبر هذا هو اللقب الثاني في مسيرة شلباية على مستوى بطولات التشالنجر والتي تقام تحت إشراف رابطة محترفي التنس (ATP)، وتعد الدرجة الثانية بعد بطولات الجولة الرئيسية (ATP Tour) وهي مصممة لمساعدة اللاعبين على تحسين تصنيفهم العالمي والتدرج نحو المشاركة في البطولات الكبرى.

ومن المنتظر أن يتقدم شلباية، إلى المركز 302 على مستوى رابطة محترفي التنس، متقدما 135 مركزاً عن تصنيفه السابق.
