أنهت بلدية إربد الكبرى إنشاء صالة متعددة الأغراض فوق مبنى منطقة النزهة، بكلفة 84 ألف دينار، بتمويل من مجلس محافظة إربد السابق.

وقالت مديرة المشاريع الهندسية في البلدية، المهندسة تهاني الهزايمة، إن القاعة أنجزت ضمن موازنة مجلس المحافظة لعام 2024، وقد تم الانتهاء من تنفيذها بعد إجراء تعديل إنشائي تمثل في إلغاء عدد من الأعمدة، مما أدى إلى زيادة مساحتها بهدف استغلالها بشكل أوسع. وأوضحت أن القاعة أقيمت فوق مبنى منطقة النزهة، في مجمع الشيخ خليل التابع للبلدية.

وبينت المهندسة الهزايمة أن إنشاء القاعة جاء ثمرة تعاون مع مجلس محافظة إربد، بهدف تقديم خدمات تليق بمواطني المدينة، مشيرة إلى أنه سيتم تجهيز الصالة لاستخدامها لاحقًا من قبل أهالي المنطقة لتنفيذ أنشطة مختلفة، وعقد ورش العمل والمناسبات الاجتماعية.
