قال وزير الخارجية النيوزيلندي ونستون بيترز في نيويورك الجمعة إن بلاده لن تعترف بدولة فلسطين في الوقت الحالي.

وأضاف في كلمته أمام الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة "في ظل الحرب المشتعلة وبقاء حماس كحاكم فعلي في غزة وعدم وضوح الخطوات المقبلة، لا تزال هناك تساؤلات كثيرة حول مستقبل دولة فلسطين بحيث لا يكون من الحكمة أن تعلن نيوزيلندا الاعتراف بها في هذا الوقت".
