قالت وكالة غوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين "الأونروا"، اليوم الجمعة، إن طفلا واحدا من كل 3 أطفال في قطاع غزة لم يتناول أي طعام خلال 24 ساعة جراء انعدام المواد الغذائية بسبب الحصار الإسرائيلي.

وأضافت الأونروا في بيان مقتضب نقلته وكالة الأنباء الفلسطينية (وفا): "وفقا لتقييم سريع للاحتياجات في غزة أجرته لجنة الإنقاذ الدولية، قضى طفل من كل ثلاثة أطفال يوما كاملا دون طعام خلال 24 ساعة الماضية". وأشارت إلى أن "الثمن الذي يدفعه الأطفال وطفولتهم (بغزة) لا يُطاق".

وبناء على هذه الظروف القاسية، فإن الكثير من الأطفال يلجؤون مجبرين إلى العمل أو "التسول أو النهب"، وفق البيان.
