قال نائب رئيس الوزراء البريطاني ديفيد لامي، إن بلاده تقف إلى جانب دولة فلسطين وتدعم إنهاء الحرب في غزة.

وأشار لامي إلى ضرورة منع ضم الضفة الغربية وتعزيز جهود السلام وإنهاء الحرب "الفظيعة" في غزة.

وأضاف لامي، "نقف إلى جانب فلسطين لأننا نؤمن بالحقوق المتساوية".

وتابع، "لا حل إلا بإطلاق سراح المحتجزين من غزة ووقف الحرب فورا وإدخال المساعدات الإنسانية".

وأكد ضرورة العمل للحيلولة دون استمرار إسرائيل في منع كل مقومات الحياة عن سكان غزة، وضرورة إنهاء ما يحدث فيها.
