قالت صحيفة Daily Mail إنه تم في مدينة دبي، تسجيل رقم قياسي في سعر أغلى فنجان قهوة يباع في العالم، حيث بلغ سعر الكوب الواحد منها حوالي 673 دولارا.

وجرت الإشارة إلى أن سلسلة مقاهي Roaster's Specialty Coffee House دخلت في 13 سبتمبر، في موسوعة غينيس للأرقام القياسية.

ونوهت الصحيفة بأنه تم تحضير فنجان القهوة باستخدام طريقة الصب (V60)، باستخدام حبوب قهوة مستوردة من مزرعة Hacienda La Esmeralda في بنما.

وقال الصحيفة: "إنها مشهورة بنكهة الزهور والفاكهة والحمضيات، مما يخلق انطباعا نابضا بالحياة حقا".

ولم تذكر الصحيفة إسم الشخص الذي اشترى فنجان القهوة بهذا السعر القياسي.
