عاد مليون لاجئ سوري إلى بلادهم منذ سقوط نظام الرئيس بشار الأسد في كانون الأول الماضي، وفق ما أعلنت الأمم المتحدة الأربعاء، داعية إلى توفير مزيد من الدعم لتمكين آخرين من العودة.

وجاء في بيان لمفوضية الأمم المتحدة السامية لشؤون اللاجئين "خلال 9 أشهر فقط، عاد مليون لاجئ إلى بلادهم منذ سقوط حكومة بشار الأسد في 8 كانون الأول 2024"، داعية المجتمع الدولي إلى توفير "مزيد من الدعم لوضع حد لمعاناة وتشريد ملايين السوريين الذين أجبروا على الفرار من منازلهم خلال السنوات الـ14 الماضية، ومساعدة البلاد في إعادة الإعمار".
