قال جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، مساء الأربعاء، إن مسيّرة أطلقت من اليمن استهدفت مدينة إيلات الساحلية.

وأفادت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية، نقلا عن "نجمة داوود"، بإصابة 20 شخصا عقب غارة الطائرة المسيرة في إيلات، منهم 2 في حالة حرجة.

صحيفة يديعوت، قالت إن جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بدأ التحقيق في غارة طائرة مُسيّرة على إيلات، بعد محاولة اعتراض فاشلة.

وبينت أن سلاح الجو الإسرائيلي حاول اعتراض طائرة مُسيّرة أُطلقت من اليمن باستخدام القبة الحديدية ولم ينجح بذلك، ويحقق جيش الدفاع الإسرائيلي في سبب فشل الاعتراض.

وكانت الطائرة تُحلق على ارتفاع منخفض فوق إيلات، "مما جعل اعتراضها باستخدام مروحية قتالية أمرًا صعبًا" بحسب ما نقلت الصحيفة.
