جنوب أفريقيا تنتقد فشل مجلس الأمن في تنفيذ القانون الدولي

أعرب رئيس جنوب أفريقيا، ماتاميلا سيريل رامافوسا، عن قلقه من عدم فعالية مجلس الأمن بشكله الحالي، في الوفاء بولايته في صون السلم والأمن الدوليين، وعن "زوال مصداقية مجلس الأمن وفشله في ضمان المساءلة وتنفيذ القانون الدولي".

وأشار رامافوسا، في حديثه أمام الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة إلى تدهور الأوضاع الإنسانية والأمنية في مناطق منها الكونغو الديمقراطية والسودان وغزة، معربا عن قلقه بشأن انتهاك بعض الدول للقانون الدولي، وتحديها لقرارات وأحكام الأمم المتحدة من هيئات مثل محكمة العدل الدولية.

وأشار إلى القضية التي رفعتها جنوب أفريقيا أمام محكمة العدل الدولية بشأن التزامات إسرائيل بتنفيذ اتفاقية منع جريمة الإبادة الجماعية في غزة.
