أعلن الديوان الملكي السعودي، الثلاثاء، وفاة مفتي عام المملكة العربية السعودية ورئيس هيئة كبار العلماء، الشيخ عبد العزيز بن عبدالله بن محمد آل الشيخ.

وذكر الديوان الملكي في بيان، أن الصلاة على جنازته ستكون في جامع الإمام تركي بن عبدالله في مدينة الرياض بعد صلاة العصر الثلاثاء.

ووفق البيان فإن خادم الحرمين الشريفين، وجه بأن تقام عليه صلاة الغائب أيضًا في المسجد الحرام في مكة المكرمة والمسجد النبوي في المدينة المنورة وجميع مساجد المملكة العربية السعودية بعد صلاة عصر الثلاثاء.
