عرضت كندا وفرنسا وألمانيا ودول غربية وأوروبية أخرى تقديم مساهمات مالية أو طواقم طبية أو معدات لازمة لعلاج مرضى من قطاع غزة في الضفة الغربية التي تحتلها إسرائيل.

وقالت الدول في بيان مشترك أصدرته كندا ليل الاثنين "نناشد إسرائيل بشدة معاودة فتح الممر الطبي إلى الضفة الغربية المحتلة، بما فيها القدس الشرقية، حتى يتسنى استئناف عمليات الإجلاء الطبي من غزة، ويحصل المرضى على العلاج الذي يحتاجونه بشدة في الأراضي الفلسطينية".

وكانت النمسا وبلجيكا وكندا وفرنسا وألمانيا وإيطاليا والاتحاد الأوروبي وبولندا من بين الدول الأربع والعشرين الموقعة على البيان، ولم تدرج الولايات المتحدة ضمن الدول الموقعة.
