دعا رئيس الوزراء الإسباني بيدرو سانشيز في خطاب ألقاه في مقرّ الأمم المتحدة في نيويورك الإثنين خلال مؤتمر حول "حل الدولتين" إلى منح دولة فلسطين عضوية كاملة في المنظمة الدولية.

وقال سانشيز الذي ينتقد بشراسة الحرب التي تخوضها إسرائيل ضد حركة حماس في قطاع غزة إنّ "هذا المؤتمر يمثّل نقطة تحوّل، لكنّه ليس نهاية الطريق. هذه مجرد البداية. دولة فلسطين يجب أن تكون عضوا" كامل العضوية في الأمم المتحدة.
