البابا: غزة أرض معذبة والشعوب بحاجة إلى السلام

أعرب البابا ليو الرابع عشر، الأحد، عن تضامن الكنيسة الكاثوليكية مع الفلسطينيين في قطاع غزة، مؤكداً أن "لا مستقبل مبنياً على العنف والمنفى القسري والانتقام"، في ختام صلاة بساحة القديس بطرس في الفاتيكان.

وقال البابا إن "الكنيسة بكاملها تعرب عن تضامنها مع الأشقاء والشقيقات الذين يعانون في هذه الأرض المعذبة"، في وقت تكثف إسرائيل هجومها على القطاع المحاصر والمدمر بفعل الحرب المستمرة منذ حوالى سنتين، مؤكداً أن "الشعوب بحاجة إلى السلام".
