عقدت الجمعية الأردنية لمصدّري ومنتجي الخضار والفواكه لقاءً مع نائب وزير الزراعة في جمهورية أوزبكستان، جمشيدجون عبد الخوروف، عضو وفد الحكومة الأوزبكية الذي يزور المملكة حالياً، بحضور رئيس الجمعية مازن حمارنة، وزهير جويحان، وعدد من أعضاء الهيئة العامة.

وتناول اللقاء بحث سبل تعزيز التعاون الزراعي بين الأردن وأوزبكستان، إلى جانب تبادل الخبرات والتجارب بما يسهم في تطوير القطاع الزراعي لدى الجانبين.

كما جرى استعراض الفرص المتاحة لزيادة التبادل التجاري في المنتجات الزراعية، وتطوير التقنيات الحديثة في مجالات الري وإدارة الموارد المائية، إضافة إلى دراسة إمكانية إقامة مشاريع مشتركة تسهم في رفع كفاءة الإنتاج الزراعي وتعزيز الأمن الغذائي لدى البلدين.
