تشير التقارير الإعلامية الإسرائيلية إلى أن الولايات المتحدة بصدد طرح مقترح جديد لصفقة تبادل بين حركة حماس وإسرائيل، وذلك في ظل التوترات المستمرة في المنطقة.

وفقًا لما نقلته القناة 12 الإسرائيلية، يُتوقع أن يتضمن المقترح الأمريكي شروطًا جديدة قد تؤثر على مسار المفاوضات بين الطرفين.

ويشمل المقترح إطلاق سراح جميع الأسرى الإسرائيليين في اليوم الأول من تنفيذ الصفقة، مقابل الإفراج عن مئات الأسرى الفلسطينيين ذوي الأحكام العالية، ووقف عملية "عربات جدعون 2" التي أطلقتها إسرائيل مطلع سبتمبر/أيلول الجاري لاحتلال مدينة غزة. كما يتضمن المقترح ضمانات من الولايات المتحدة ومصر وقطر لاستمرار وقف إطلاق النار.
