زلزال قوي جديد يهز كامتشاتكا الروسية ولا أنباء عن خسائر

قال فلاديمير سولودوف حاكم منطقة كامتشاتكا أمس الخميس (اليوم الجمعة بالتوقيت المحلي) إن زلزالا قويا ضرب المنطقة الواقعة في أقصى شرق روسيا مما دفع السلطات المحلية إلى إصدار تحذيرات من احتمال حدوث أمواج مد عاتية (تسونامي).

ورغم وصول أمواج إلى الشاطئ، لم ترد تقارير عن أضرار.

وقالت هيئة المسح الجيولوجي الأميركية إن قوة الزلزال بلغت 7.8 درجة وإنه كان على عمق 10 كيلومترات. وأضافت أن هزات ارتدادية تلت الزلزال وصلت قوتها إلى 5.8 درجة.

وقالت وزارة الطوارئ الروسية إن قوة الزلزال، الذي وقع على بعد 128 كيلومترا شرق مدينة بيتروبافلوسك-كامشاتسكي، بلغت 7.2 درجة، بحسب رويترز.
