رحبت المملكة العربية السعودية بإعلان الجمهورية العربية السورية الشقيقة الوصول إلى خارطة الطريق لحل الأزمة في محافظة السويداء، مشيدة بالجهود التي بذلتها المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية الشقيقة، والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في هذا الصدد.

وجددت المملكة، في بيان أصدرته وزارة الخارجية السعودية، دعمها لجميع الخطوات التي تتخذها سوريا بما يحقق أمنها واستقرارها، ويحافظ على مقدراتها ووحدة أراضيها، ويسهم في بناء مؤسسات الدولة وتطبيق القانون، بما يلبي تطلعات الشعب السوري الشقيق نحو سوريا أكثر استقرارًا وازدهارًا.
