يزور اليوم نائب رئيس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين أيمن الصفدي، الجمهورية العربية السورية، ويلتقي وزير الخارجية والمغتربين السوري أسعد الشيباني، ويجري معه ومع سفير الولايات المتحدة الأميركية لدى الجمهورية التركية والمبعوث الأميركي الخاص إلى سوريا توماس بارِك اجتماعًا ثلاثيًّا مشتركًا لبحث الأوضاع في سوريا.

ويأتي ذلك استكمالًا للمباحثات التي كانت استضافتها عمّان بتاريخ ١٢ آب ٢٠٢٥، وتاريخ ١٩ تموز ٢٠٢٥ لبحث تثبيت وقف إطلاق النار في محافظة السويداء في جنوب سوريا وحل الأزمة هناك.
