بلدية غزة تناشد العالم لإيقاف تفاقم الكارثة الإنسانية

ناشدت بلدية غزة المجتمع الدولي والمنظمات الإنسانية بالتحرك الفوري لوقف حرب الإبادة، ودعم جهود البلدية في التخفيف من الكارثة عبر توفير الاحتياجات الطارئة والحد من انتشار الأوبئة والأمراض.

وحذرت البلدية في بيان اليوم الاثنين، من خطورة تفاقم الكارثة الإنسانية في المدينة جراء تصعيد الاحتلال لحرب الإبادة المستمرة منذ نحو عامين، وما نتج عنها من دمار واسع في البنية التحتية وتكدس كبير للنفايات في الشوارع والمكبات، إضافة إلى نقص حاد في الخدمات الأساسية.

وأوضحت أن الأزمة تتفاقم يوميا بفعل تراكم النفايات وانعدام المياه الكافية وتسرب المياه العادمة نتيجة تدمير شبكات الصرف الصحي، مشيرةً إلى أن الجهود المبذولة لجمع النفايات تواجه عوائق كبيرة بسبب نقص الوقود والآليات ومنع الوصول إلى المكب الرئيس شرق المدينة.
