تفقد رئيس الوزراء جعفر حسان، الأحد، موقع أم الرصاص الأثري، مشددا على ضرورة تنفيذ برامج لترميم معالم فيه، والحفاظ على قيمته التاريخية والأثرية الفريدة.

وأكد رئيس الوزراء ضرورة تحسين الخدمات المقدمة لمرتادي موقع أم الرصاص، وإدامة الترويج له سياحيا؛ بما يعكس أهميته كموقع أثري مُدرَج على قائمة التراث العالمي لليونسكو منذ عام 2004، باعتباره أحد أهم المعالم الأثرية، حيث يمتد على مساحة 1200 دونم ويحتوي على 16 كنيسة أثرية بعضها مزين بأرضيات فسيفسائية مميزة، وحصن وبُرج والعديد من الآثار التي تعود لحقب زمنية عديدة.
