أعلنت هيئة الإذاعة الوطنية الإيرلندية RTE ، أنها لن تشارك في مسابقة الأغنية الأوروبية "يوروفيجن" للعام 2026 في حال استمرار مشاركة إسرائيل.

وأكدت الهيئة في بيان رسمي، أن موقفها يأتي على خلفية "الخسائر الفادحة في الأرواح في غزة، واستهداف الصحفيين هناك، ومنع وصول الإعلام الدولي إلى القطاع"، معتبرة أن مشاركة إيرلندا في ظل هذه الظروف "غير مقبولة أخلاقياً".

وبذلك تصبح RTE هي ثاني هيئة من بين 37 هيئة بث بعد سلوفينيا جعلت مشاركتها في العام المقبل مشروطة باستبعاد إسرائيل من المنافسة.
