بعد مقتل الناشط كيرك.. الخارجية الأميركية "تحذر الأجانب"

حذرت وزارة الخارجية الأميركية الأجانب من عواقب تبريرهم للعنف عبر الإنترنت، وذلك في أعقاب مقتل الناشط المحافظ المؤثر تشارلي كيرك.

وكتب نائب وزير الخارجية كريستوفر لانداو يوم الخميس على منصة "إكس" أنه "في ضوء الاغتيال المروع لشخصية سياسية بارزة يوم أمس، أود أن أؤكد أن الأجانب الذين يمجدون العنف والكراهية ليسوا زوارا مرحبا بهم في بلدنا".

وقال لانداو الذي لم يذكر كيرك بالاسم إنه "مشمئز" من أن بعض مستخدمي وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي سعوا لتبرير الفعل أو التقليل من شأنه، وأنه أصدر تعليمات للمسؤولين القنصليين باتخاذ إجراءات، دون إعطاء تفاصيل محددة.

كما حث الناس على إبلاغه مباشرة بالتعليقات الصادرة عن الأجانب حتى تتمكن وزارة الخارجية من "حماية الشعب الأميركي"، لكنه لم يذكر أي حالات محددة.
