هاجم وزير الخارجية الأميركي ماركو روبيو حكم الإدانة "الظالم" الذي أصدرته المحكمة العليا البرازيلية الخميس بحقّ الرئيس السابق اليميني المتطرف جايير بولسونارو بتهمة التخطيط لانقلاب، مؤكدا أنّ الولايات المتّحدة "ستردّ بما يتناسب" مع "حملة الاضطهاد هذه".

وكتب روبيو على منصة إكس إنّ "المحكمة العليا البرازيلية حكمت ظلما بسجن الرئيس السابق جايير بولسونارو"، مضيفا أنّ الولايات المتّحدة التي سبق لها وأن فرضت رسوما جمركية ضخمة على أكبر اقتصاد في أميركا الجنوبية بسبب محاكمة حليف رئيسها دونالد ترامب "ستردّ بما يتناسب مع حملة الاضطهاد هذه".
