أعلنت وزارة الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين عن وصول المواطنة الأردنية لانا شكري كتاو، نائبة مدير مكتب منظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة (اليونيسف)، إلى المملكة، بعد الإفراج عنها عقب احتجازها لعدّة أيام في العاصمة اليمنية صنعاء، حيث كان في استقبالها في مطار ماركا العسكري، أمين عام الوزارة السفير ضيف الله الفايز، ومدير مديرية العمليات والشؤون القنصلية السفير فراس خوري.

وأكّد الناطق الرسمي باسم الوزارة فؤاد المجالي أن جهود الوزارة بالتنسيق مع الجهات الأردنية المعنية أثمرت عن الإفراج عن المواطنة كتاو.
