نقلت صحيفة وول ستريت جورنال، الأربعاء، عن مسؤولين كبار في الإدارة الأميركية أن الرئيس دونالد ترامب أبلغ رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو بأن قراره باستهداف حركة حماس داخل قطر لم يكن قرارا حكيما.

وأدلى ترامب بهذه التعليقات خلال ما وصفته الصحيفة باتصال هاتفي حاد الثلاثاء عقب الهجوم.

ووفقا للصحيفة، فقد رد نتنياهو بأن الفرصة كانت قصيرة لشن الهجمات وأنه استغلها.

وأضافت الصحيفة أن اتصالا ثانيا جرى بينهما في وقت لاحق من الثلاثاء وكان وديا، وسأل ترامب فيه نتنياهو عما إذا كان الهجوم قد نجح.
