إيقاف الرامية الأميركية ساوندرز بسبب المنشطات

وافقت الأميركية رايفن ساوندرز، وصيفة بطلة مسابقة رمي الكرة الحديد للسيدات في أولمبياد طوكيو، على إيقافها لمدة 30 شهرا، بعد ارتكابها ثلاث مخالفات تتعلق بمكان تواجدها طوال فترة 12 شهرا، وفقا لما أعلنته وكالة مكافحة المنشطات الأميركية.

وحلّت الأميركية البالغة 29 عاما في المركز الخامس في أولمبياد ريو 2016 قبل أن تنتزع الميدالية الفضية في اليابان ثمّ تتراجع الى الحادي عشر في أولمبياد باريس العام الماضي.

وكانت ساوندرز ضمن مجموعة الرياضيين الأميركيين الذين اختيروا للخضوع لبرنامج الفحوص العشواية، عندما سجلت ثلاث مخالفات لعدم تزويد مسؤولي الاختبارات بمكان تواجدها في ثلاثة تواريخ مختلفة: 19 نيسان 2024، 17 أيار 2024، و26 كانون الأول 2024.

تتراوح فترة الاستبعاد في حالات المخالفة الأولى لقواعد تحديد مكان التواجد بين عام وعامين، إلا أن هذه كانت المخالفة الثانية لسوندرز، وقد رأت الوكالة الأميركية لمكافحة المنشطات أن فترة إيقاف مدتها 30 شهرا تُعد مناسبة في هذه الحالة.

وسبق أن أوقفت ساوندرز لمدة 18 شهرا من آب 2022 حتى شباط 2024 لعدم إبلاغها عن مكان تواجدها ثلاث مرات.

ودخل الإيقاف حيّز التنفيذ في 26 كانون الأول 2024 ليتم إقصاء نتائج ساوندرز في جميع المسابقات التي خاضتها مذاك الحين.
