واصل الملاكم الأردني زياد عشيش تألقه في منافسات وزن تحت 70 كغم ببطولة العالم للملاكمة المقامة في مدينة ليفربول البريطانية، بعدما تفوق على الأوزبكي بولتايف وتأهل إلى الدور نصف النهائي، ليضمن بذلك ميدالية تاريخية جديدة للأردن.

ويُسجَّل للأردن أنه الدولة العربية الوحيدة التي تصعد إلى منصة التتويج في بطولة العالم للملاكمة في هذه النسخة.

وسيخوض عشيش مواجهة قوية في نصف النهائي يوم السبت المقبل أمام الملاكم الياباني سوونريتس أوكازاوا، ساعيًا لحجز مقعده في النهائي والمنافسة على الذهب.
