أكد جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني لدى استقباله الرئيس الفلسطيني محمود عباس دعم الأردن الراسخ للأشقاء الفلسطينيين في نيل حقوقهم العادلة والمشروعة، وقيام دولتهم المستقلة وفق حل الدولتين.

وشدد جلالته، بحضور سمو الأمير الحسين بن عبدالله الثاني ولي العهد، على استمرار الأردن ببذل كل الجهود الممكنة على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي لتعزيز صمود الشعب الفلسطيني على ترابه الوطني، مؤكدا رفض الأردن المطلق لأية إجراءات لضم الأراضي.

ودعا جلالته المجتمع الدولي إلى تحمل مسؤولياته للوقوف أمام كل ما يهدد أمن المنطقة، مجددا إدانة الأردن للعدوان الإسرائيلي الغاشم على قطر.
