سقطت وزيرة الصحة السويدية الجديدة، كريسترشون ولان، فجأة خلال مؤتمر صحفي عقد اليوم الثلاثاء، تزامنًا مع إعلان تعيينها رسميًا خلفًا للوزيرة السابقة أكو أنكاربيري يوهانسون، التي استقالت لأسباب صحية.

وأوضحت وسائل الإعلام المحلية أن الوزيرة أصيبت بانخفاض مستوى السكر في الدم، ما أدى إلى فقدانها الوعي أمام الحضور، قبل أن تتلقى المساعدة على الفور.

وشهد المؤتمر حضور عدد من وزراء الحكومة السويدية، من بينهم وزيرة الطاقة والصناعة إيبا بوش ووزير الشؤون الاجتماعية ياكوب فورشميد، حيث سارعت بوش إلى مساعدة زميلتها لحظة سقوطها، في مشهد أثار قلق الحاضرين وتصدر سريعًا مواقع الأخبار.
