أعلن كلّ من رئيس الوزراء العراقي محمد شياع السوداني والرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب مساء الثلاثاء الإفراج عن الباحثة الإسرائيلية-الروسية إليزابيث تسوركوف المخطوفة منذ العام 2023 في العراق.

وقال السوداني في منشور على منصة إكس "تتويجا لجهود كبيرة بذلتها أجهزتنا الأمنية وعلى مدى شهور طويلة، نعلن عن تحرير المواطنة الروسية اليزابيث تسوركوف".

من جهته، قال ترامب على منصة تروث سوشال إن "فصيل كتائب حزب الله أفرج الآن" عن تسوركوف "وهي الآن بأمان في السفارة الأميركية في العراق بعدما تعرّضت للتعذيب على مدى عدة أشهر".
