أكّد رئيس الوزراء القطري الشيخ محمد بن عبد الرحمن آل ثاني الثلاثاء أنّ بلاده "تحتفظ بحق الرد" على الضربة الإسرائيلية التي استهدفت اجتماعا لقادة حركة حماس في الدوحة وأودت بحياة ستة أشخاص بينهم عنصر في الأمن القطري.

وصرّح رئيس الوزراء الذي يشغل أيضا منصب وزير الخارجية في مؤتمر صحافي "تؤكد دولة قطر أنها لن تتهاون بما يتعلق بالمساس بسيادتها وسلامة أراضيها. وأنها ستتعامل بحزم مع أي اختراق متهور او اعتداء يطال أمنها ويهدد استقرار المنطقة وأنها تحتفظ بحق الرد على هذا الهجوم السافر وسوف تقوم بكافة الإجراءات اللازمة للرد عليه"، مشيرا إلى "أننا وصلنا إلى لحظة مفصلية" في الشرق الأوسط.
