انتشرت على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، يوم الثلاثاء، صورة تظهر مبنى يعتقد أنه كان موقعا لاجتماع يضم قياديين من حركة "حماس" في العاصمة القطرية الدوحة، قبيل استهدافه من قبل إسرائيل، بحسب ما تداوله مستخدمون.

وتظهر الصورة مبنى على هيئة فيلا، يقال إنه كان يحتضن اجتماعا لوفد حركة "حماس" المفاوض.

وأكد الجيش الإسرائيلي في بيان أنه هاجم من خلال سلاح الجو بشكل موجه بالدقة قيادة حركة حماس

وقال في بيان" قادة القيادة الحمساوية الذين تم استهدافهم قادوا أنشطة حماس على مدار سنوات ويتحملون المسؤولية المباشرة عن ارتكاب مجزرة السابع من أكتوبر وإدارة الحرب ضد إسرائيل".

وأضاف البيان: "قبل الغارة تم اتخاذ خطوات لتجنب إصابة المدنيين، شملت استخدام أنواع الذخيرة الدقيقة والمعلومات الاستخبارية الإضافية".
