تأهل لاعب المنتخب الوطني للملاكمة، زياد عشيش، اليوم الإثنين، إلى الدور ربع النهائي، من منافسات بطولة العالم والمقامة حالياً في مدينة ليفربول البريطانية.

وتمكن عشيش من تحقيق انتصاره الثاني على التوالي في البطولة وجاء على حساب لاعب المنتخب الجورجي، لوكا نيكابادزي في دور الـ16 من منافسات وزن تحت 70 كغم.

وكان عشيش قد افتتح مشاركته في البطولة بالفوز على اللاعب الأمريكي كارلوس فلورس في دور الـ 32، حيث سيلتقي في الدور ربع النهائي مع اللاعب الأوزبكي بولتايف شيفكاتجون، بعد غد الأربعاء.

وتتواصل مشاركة المنتخب الوطني في بطولة العالم يوم غد الثلاثاء، حيث سيلتقي اللاعب حذيفة عشيش مع اللاعب الكازاخستاني سانجار عند الساعة 10:15 مساءً بتوقيت الأردن في دور الـ16 من منافسات وزن تحت 50 كغم.
