دعت وزارة الأوقاف والشؤون والمقدسات الإسلامية إلى إقامة صلاة الخسوف في مساجد المملكة حال وقوعه مساء اليوم الأحد.

وذكرت الوزارة في تعميم، أنه من المتوقع أن تشهد المملكة خسوفا كليا للقمر يبدأ من الساعة 8:30 مساء ويستمر لغاية الساعة 10:56، موضحة أن صلاة الخسوف سنة مؤكدة تؤدى وفق حالة المصلين واستطاعتهم دون مشقة.

وحثت المصلين على إقامة الصلاة والإقبال على الله بالتوبة والإنابة والعمل الصالح والصدقات والتوجه الى الله بخالص الدعاء.
