وقّع الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الجمعة أمرا تنفيذيا بتغيير تسمية وزارة الدفاع إلى "وزارة الحرب"، معتبرا أن ذلك يبعث "رسالة نصر" إلى العالم.

وقال ترامب في تصريح لصحافيين في المكتب البيضوي بحضور الوزير بيت هيغسيث الذي بات "وزير الحرب"، إن الاسم الجديد "أكثر ملاءمة في ضوء وضع العالم راهنا".
