بات 21 ألف طفل على الأقل في غزة يعانون من إعاقات منذ اندلاع الحرب بين إسرائيل وحماس في السابع من تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2023، بحسب ما أعلنت لجنة تابعة للأمم المتحدة الأربعاء.

وقالت "اللجنة المعنية بحقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة" التابعة للأمم المتحدة إن حوالى 40500 طفل تعرّضوا إلى "إصابات مرتبطة بالحرب" خلال فترة العامين التي مرّت منذ اندلاع الحرب، بات أكثر من نصفهم يعانون من إعاقات.
