ترامب يعلن نقل قيادة الفضاء كولورادو إلى ألاباما

أعلن الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، الثلاثاء، نقل مقر قيادة الفضاء الأميركية من كولورادو إلى ولاية ألاباما، منهيا بذلك جدلا استمر أربع سنوات حول موقع القيادة التي تُعد ذات أهمية استراتيجية واقتصادية كبرى.

وقال ترامب، خلال مؤتمر صحفي في المكتب البيضاوي وإلى جانبه وفد من نواب ألاباما الجمهوريين: "سيتم نقل مقر قيادة الفضاء الأميركية إلى الموقع الجميل بمدينة هانتسفيل في ألاباما، التي ستعرف من الآن فصاعدا باسم مدينة الصواريخ. كان هناك تنافس كبير على هذا، وفازت فيه ألاباما."

وأوضح أن اختيار هانتسفيل جاء لأنها "كافحت بجدية أكبر من أي أحد آخر" للفوز بالمقر.
