أعادت وزارة الأشغال العامة والإسكان اليوم الاثنين، فتح طريق رأس النقب-دبة حانوت للاتجاه المغادر من العقبة إلى عمان بعد أن أنهت العمل بمشروع إضافة طبقة إسفلتية سطحية جديدة على الطريق وتعزيز عناصر السلامة المرورية عليه.

وأوضحت الوزارة في بيان أن المشروع جاء بهدف رفع كفاءة الطريق لتحمل الحمولات المحورية وحسب المواصفات العالمية.

ويبلغ طول منطقة العمل 8.6 كلم، وناهزت كلفة المشروع الإجمالية 1.15 مليون دينار.

وجاء هذا المشروع ضمن سلسلة مشاريع الصيانة الدورية التي تنفذها الوزارة على شبكة الطرق الرئيسة في المملكة بشكل عام وعلى الطريق الصحراوي بشكل خاص.
