أعلن مسؤول في الخارجية الأميركية السبت أن الولايات المتحدة رفضت منح تأشيرات لنحو 80 مسؤولا فلسطينيا بينهم الرئيس محمود عباس، يعتزمون حضور أعمال الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في نيويورك.

وكانت الخارجية الأميركية أعلنت الجمعة أنها قررت "إلغاء ورفض" منح تأشيرات "لأعضاء في منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية والسلطة الفلسطينية". وأوضح المسؤول الأميركي أن "عباس يشمله هذا الإجراء، إضافة إلى نحو 80 مسؤولا آخر في السلطة الفلسطينية".
