الأمم المتحدة: أطفال غزة يفقدون فرصة التعليم للعام الثالث على التوالي

قالت الأمم المتحدة، الأربعاء، إن الأطفال الفلسطينيين في قطاع غزة سيحرمون من التعليم للعام الثالث على التوالي، بسبب ما ترتكبه إسرائيل من حصار وحرب إبادة.

وأوضح متحدث الأمم المتحدة ستيفان دوجاريك، خلال مؤتمر صحفي، أن العام الدراسي الجديد يقترب، و"أطفال غزة سيفقدون فرصة التعليم للعام الثالث على التوالي، التعليم حق أساسي ولا يجوز حرمان أي طفل منه". ودعا دوجاريك إلى "حماية حق الأطفال في غزة في الحصول على التعليم".

وأكد ضرورة إعادة فتح المدارس وضمان تمكين الأطفال الفلسطينيين من ممارسة حقهم في التعليم، محذرا من أن هذه الأزمة "تهدد مستقبل جيل كامل في غزة".
