حذّرت إيران الأربعاء من أنّ تفعيل الدول الأوروبية عقوبات "آلية الزناد" المنصوص عليها في اتفاق 2015 قد يؤثّر سلبا على تعاونها مع الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية.

وقال نائب وزير الخارجية كاظم غريب آبادي في تصريحات للتلفزيون الرسمي إنّه "في حال الإقدام على هذه الخطوة، سيتأثّر بالكامل المسار التفاعلي الذي أطلقناه للتوّ مع الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية وسيتوقّف على الأرجح".
