نال الأردن عبر اتحاد ألعاب القوى تمثيلاً مشرفاً في الاتحاد العربي بعد اختيار كوكبة من الكفاءات الأردنية في لجانه.

وأوضح رئيس الاتحاد رامي أبو عرابي العدوان انه تم اختيار الدكتور مصطفى اللوزي عضو اللجنة الفنية بالاتحاد العربي لألعاب القوى والدكتورة ريم الشمري نائب رئيس لجنة المرأة والمهندسة تانيا حرب عضو لجنة الإحصاء والتخطيط وخليل العدوان عضو لجنة الإعلام والعلاقات العامة والحكم جمانا قطيشات بعضوية لجنة الحكام.

وذكر رئيس العدوان في رده على «الرأي، أن ذلك يعكس مدى التميز والاحترافية التي يتمتع بها أبناء وبنات الأردن في المجالين الرياضي والإداري.

وبارك رئيس الاتحاد تلك الخطوة معتبراً إياها تعني الكثير على حد وصفه وأشار في هذا الاتجاه إلى التحركات النشطة والعمل المستمر لتأخذ ألعاب القوى مكانها الحقيقي.
