أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الشرقية فجر الأحد، محاولة تسلل مجموعة أشخاص على واجهتها ضمن منطقة مسؤوليتها، وذلك بعد محاولتهم اجتياز الحدود بطريقة غير مشروعة، حيث تم تحريك دوريات رد الفعل السريع وتطبيق قواعد الاشتباك ما أدى إلى تراجعهم داخل العمق السوري، وبعد إجراء عمليات البحث والتفتيش للمنطقة تم ضبط كميات كبيرة من المواد المخدرة وتحويلها إلى الجهات المختصة.
