أفادت صحيفة "ديلي ميل" البريطانية، بأنّ شركة "كايووا تكنولوجي" الصينية كشفت عن ابتكار أثار جدلاً واسعاً، حيث طورت أول روبوت في العالم مزود برحم صناعي قادر على إتمام عملية الحمل والولادة نيابة عن النساء.

وجرى الإعلان عن المشروع خلال مؤتمر الروبوتات العالمي 2025 في بكين، حيث أوضح مؤسس الشركة، تشانغ تشي فنغ، أنّ "الروبوت يحاكي العملية الكاملة من التخصيب وحتى الولادة، مع إمكانية حمل الجنين لمدة تصل إلى 10 أشهر في بيئة سائل أمينوسي صناعي، وتغذيته عبر أنبوب يحاكي الحبل السري".

ويتوقع أن يُطرح النموذج الأولي في الأسواق عام 2026 بسعر يقل عن 100 ألف يوان (نحو 13,900 دولار)، ويستهدف الأشخاص الراغبين في تجنب الأعباء الجسدية للحمل أو من يواجهون مشاكل العقم.

ويذكر أنّ فكرة الأرحام الصناعية ليست جديدة، إذ نجح باحثون عام 2017 في مستشفى الأطفال بفيلادلفيا في رعاية جنين خروف في "حقيبة حيوية"، لكن الانتقال إلى الحمل الكامل للبشر يبقى تحدياً علمياً كبيراً.
