أعلن الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الجمعة، أنّ مدينتي شيكاغو ونيويورك ستشملهما الحملة الفدرالية لمكافحة الجريمة، والتي تمّ في إطارها نشر الحرس الوطني في العاصمة واشنطن.

وقال ترامب للصحافيين في البيت الأبيض، "سنجعل مدننا آمنة للغاية"، مضيفا "أعتقد أنّ شيكاغو ستكون التالية، ثمّ سنساعد في نيويورك".
