أعلنت الأمم المتحدة الجمعة رسميا المجاعة في غزة، أول إعلان من نوعه في الشرق الأوسط، وقال خبراؤها إن 500 ألف شخص يواجهون جوعا "كارثيا".

وبعد أشهر من التحذيرات بشأن الوضع الإنساني واستشراء الجوع في القطاع الفلسطيني، أكّد التصنيف المرحلي للأمن الغذائي ومقره في روما أن محافظة غزة - مدينة غزة - التي تغطي نحو 20% من قطاع غزة، تشهد مجاعة.
