زار وفد من المستشفى الميداني الأردني نابلس/7، اليوم الخميس، مقبرة شهداء الجيش العربي الذين استشهدوا دفاعا عن ثرى فلسطين في معركة وادي التفاح عام 1967 في مدينة نابلس.

وقرأ الوفد الفاتحة على أرواح الشهداء ووضع إكليلاً من الزهور تكريماً لتضحياتهم في سبيل الدفاع عن ثرى فلسطين.

وقال قائد قوة المستشفى: "إن هذه الزيارة تأتي في إطار الواجب الوطني تجاه أبطال الجيش العربي الذين قدموا أرواحهم دفاعاً عن قضايا الأمة"، مبيناً أهمية الحفاظ على إرثهم وإبراز بطولاتهم التي تمثل مبعث فخر واعتزاز للأردنيين جميعاً.

يشار إلى أن القوات المسلحة الأردنية خاضت عددا من المعارك على ثرى فلسطين قدمت خلالها كوكبة من الشهداء وتعد أضرحة شهداء الجيش العربي فيها شاهداً على تضحياتهم.
