أعلن مستشار الرئيس الفلسطيني، محمود الهباش، أن الرئيس محمود عباس يخطط للمشاركة في القمة الروسية العربية المقررة في منتصف أكتوبر المقبل بالعاصمة الروسية موسكو.

وقال الهباش في تصريح لوكالة "سبوتنيك": "الرئيس محمود عباس يخطط لحضور القمة الروسية – العربية، ونحن نأمل بشدة أن تسهم هذه القمة في تعزيز العلاقات بين روسيا والعالم العربي".

وأضاف أن القمة ستعزز كذلك الدعم لمسار حل القضية الفلسطينية، في ظل الشراكة القوية التي تجمع روسيا بالدول العربية والإسلامية.

وكان الكرملين قد أعلن في مايو/آيار الماضي أن الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين وجّه دعوة إلى قادة الدول العربية والأمين العام لجامعة الدول العربية للمشاركة في القمة الروسية – العربية الأولى، المقررة في 15 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول.
