دعم مشروع إنشاء وصيانة قنوات الري في الأردن بقيمة 280 ألف دينار

وافقت الحكومة اليابانية على سحب مبلغ 280 ألف دينار من الحساب الأردني - الياباني المشترك، وذلك لتمويل مشروع إنشاء وصيانة قنوات الري لصالح وزارة الزراعة.

وبحسب بيان لوزارة التخطيط والتعاون الدولي اليوم الثلاثاء، يهدف الاتفاق إلى تحسين كفاءة استخدام المياه في الزراعة، وتعزيز الممارسات المستدامة في إدارة الموارد المائية والحد من الفاقد، من خلال إعادة تأهيل قنوات ري الينابيع، والتي تُعد من البنى التحتية الحيوية لنقل وتوزيع مياه الري بين المزارعين في عدد من المناطق الزراعية.

يشار إلى أن الحساب الأردني - الياباني أُنشئ عام 1997 بإدارة وزارة المالية وتُستخدم الأرصدة المودعة فيه، بالتنسيق مع الحكومة اليابانية، لتمويل مشاريع تنموية في قطاع الزراعة، إلى جانب دعم الأمن الغذائي بما يساعد في تحقيق التنمية الاقتصادية في المملكة.
